What a unique and lovely gem. BEAUTIFUL view, and love how the wall can actually open up looking out over the bay in nice weather. SO COOL. Food was absolutely delicious - highly recommend the Lobster Deviled Eggs and the Ice Cream Waffle dessert... We were only able to sit at the bar since we didn't have reservations, so definitely make reservations!

This restaurant came highly recommended while we were visiting Erie, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We loved everything about our experience—from the delicious food to the outstanding service. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary, and the staff surprised us with a complimentary dessert, which made our evening even more special. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area and will definitely be back the next time we’re in Erie!

I had been hearing a lot about this restaurant for three years. I celebrated my birthday there last week. We made a reservation for ten people a week in advance. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be very poor. Don't get me wrong—the food is delicious and the drinks aren't bad—but the real issue was that we were given a table where the sun was beating down on us the entire time. We asked a couple of times if the A/C was on; the staff said they didn't know—though it seemed like it was—and admitted that this is a regular occurrence with the tables in that area. Before leaving, I asked, "Why do you keep offering that table?" Some of my guests ate, while others barely touched their food; some plates were cleared away with 90% of the meal still on them. We kept having to step outside to cool off, and ultimately, it was a very uncomfortable situation. That said, we kept ordering drinks because we were thirsty, hot, and uncomfortable—which meant the bill was incredibly high considering the quality of service we received. If you want to dine at this beautiful spot, go for it! Just make sure to ask for a table that isn't stiflingly hot and lacking ventilation. I hope the owners or

Oliver’s Rooftop has an amazing view, and it’s definitely a place where you should reserve in advance — walk‑ins usually won’t get a table. The food is on the pricier side and leans toward an Asian‑fusion flavor. If you’re celebrating a birthday, they bring out a dessert with a candle, which is a nice touch.

We made a reservation for 8:15 on a Saturday just about 8 hours prior & when we came in we were seated right away. Our server was Michael, who was very attentive, helpful, kind and spent time talking to us about the menu and in general. Michael went above and beyond to ensure that we were informed, happy & enjoying ourselves. I appreciated that Michael showed us photos of menu items because a visual can really make or break a decision for me & I have never seen anything like that done before. Through and through our experience was great! The only thing I can say that I didn't like was a patron of the bar was talking *at* the table next to us and then he started involving us in the conversation that clearly only he was interested in having. That is no fault to the restaurant or staff at Oliver's. If I was an employee I might have suggested that the patron leave the other guests alone, but not everyone is annoyed by intoxicated people like I am. Overall it didn't take away from my experience or bother me enough to get upset. I will certainly be coming back next time we take a trip to Erie. This time I had the filet mignon, but I also wanted to try the smash burger. Everything looke
